Our Football philosophy at National Sports Club is based solely on the idea of RESPECT. This means a sense of worth or excellence of a person, a personal quality or ability, or something considered as a manifestation of a personal quality or ability. It is the collective responsibility of everyone at National Sports Club (parents, players, coaches and committee members) to create a fair, safe and enjoyable environment in which the game can take place.

National Sports Club is a Racism Free Zone. Any player, parent, coach or spectator who cross the line by insulting ones skin colour, ethnicity or religion will be escorted from our grounds and reported to Canterbury and Districts Soccer Football Association (CDSRA) and other relevant bodies. Racism has no place in Australian society and certainly has NO place at National Sports Club.

Furthermore, 'our football' is also one based on active participation and integration. At National Sports Club we believe the only way to break down the barriers of misunderstanding is through football. Football has united many of our parents, players, coaches and spectators. It is the love of football that unites all. Our motto embodies this belief as we say ‘Unity through Diversity’.
